Tara Rae

Hi, I'm Tara Rae, and my journey in embodied healing began over two decades ago when I was just 18 years old. After a life changing car accident, I was able to find healing through the Pilates Method working with a neurological specialist as my mentor. Her background had led her to Pilates which is founded on the science of resetting the nervous system and integrating primal reflexes that recur after severe trauma. When my neurological symptoms were cured, I had to know how this method worked, and thus started my journey into the depth of the body and its healing ability in integrated movement. Little did I know that these experiences would eventually lead me to the profound realization of soul embodiment through various rites of passage.

Throughout my life, I encountered numerous challenges, such as injury, abuse, chronic pain, and depression. Yet, it was during those moments of readiness that the right teachers appeared in my life. These way showers, who had also faced their own depths of experience in returning to their wholeness, or those intuitive healing guides with exceptional empathy, came into my life when I needed them the most. From NLP,  life coaching, acupressure of the feet, pre-and post natal training, somatic movement, light frequency, and nutritional support are the techniques I have trained in that have led me into deeper mastery of the self expression of healing.

My teaching techniques are deeply rooted in my personal journey of self-discovery and development. Empathy plays a crucial role in my approach as I carefully track and understand my students' systems. Additionally, I've been fortunate to have mentors who have shaped my techniques and guided me along the way.

Compassion is the foundation of my work, nurturing sovereign empowerment and the rediscovery of one's wholeness. I believe that every individual has the right to connect with their truth and consciously choose to create alignment within themselves. Approaching ourselves with compassion helps us recognize that we are both independent and interconnected beings. By focusing on creating a dynamic experience within our bodies, we can heal from trauma, step into empowerment, and take responsibility for our own healing.

My personal experiences in embodied healing have involved overcoming anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies, and neurological/brain injuries. This journey has instilled in me a deep sense of compassion for those who are suffering. I believe that we are not meant to relive our past; instead, we should create a safe space to anchor ourselves and move forward.

My teaching abilities span various modalities, including Pilates-based movement for body alignment, acupressure on the feet for targeted body activation, guided imagery processing to communicate with the subconscious, and trauma-informed and pre/postnatal movement specialization.

Creating a dynamic experience within the body, encompassing visceral, emotional, sensory, and mindful activation, is the key to transforming trauma and stepping into wholeness and empowerment. My passion lies in witnessing others stepping into the fullness that is their birthright. I firmly believe that the power to heal ultimately comes from within, and my role as an embodied healer is to support and guide others on their journey to empowerment, always respecting their sovereignty and individual choices. In the presence of trauma, my mission is to help individuals metabolize and transform from that access point. Radical responsibility is the pathway to empowerment and self-growth.

I am dedicated to helping others reclaim their power, heal, and embrace their journey to wholeness, honoring their unique paths. Remember, healing is an internal journey, and my integrity lies in supporting you as you embrace your authority and make the choices that lead to your healing and growth.
